We learnt about electromagnets probably at the beginning of our high school. The definition, if my memory serves me well, is when an insulated coil is wound around iron piece and the when the current is flown through this coil, a magnetic field is created. Note the word - insualated coil and we will come to this later again.

I got a tiny strawberry sapling for £2 in April 2021 from a nursey near by. With no prior knowledge on how to grow strawberries, I left the plant, for over couple of weeks, in that tiny pot in which it was sold.

One of my new year resolutions is to grow at least 5 different vegetables/fruits/greens this year. The garden, at the beginning of the year was filled with unwanted shrubs and never-dying weeds and 3 feet grass. So this resolution, I thought, should help me take this as a challenge and fix it. Also, this is yet another baby step towards making my garden a better place eventually.

If gardening is your passion, letting the plants die breaks you down. Especially when you buy seeds and not plants. You spend time and take extra care in germinating the seeds to begin with. While germinating is a hard process, keeping the young saplings alive is yet another major task. The job isn’t done yet if you do not make them grow and produce the yield. And every phase makes you feel that the previous phase was a little easy. Yet, you don’t give, if its your passion. Do you?
